TAX INSTALLMENT PROGRAM

The monthly installment plan for paying the upcoming year’s real estate taxes has been in place and served numerous Pulaski County taxpayers since the 2010 tax year. Payments are based on the amount paid for real estate taxes the previous year then divided by eleven. The first ten installments are equal amounts; the eleventh and final payment is the balance of the taxes due. Monthly automatic withdrawals from a checking or savings account are the only acceptable forms of payment for the program. Penalties and fees are charged on taxes not paid in full by December 31st and are the responsibility of the taxpayer; if any monthly payment is not fulfilled, the payment plan may be terminated. If you are interested in enrolling in the installment program, please fill out and sign the Authorization Agreement on this web site or pick one up in our office. Be sure to read the additional information regarding the automated payment process.

  • Only real estate taxes are eligible for installment payments. Delinquent real estate taxes are not eligible for the payment plan. For example, 2012 taxes must be paid before you may enroll in a payment plan for the 2013 tax year.
  • If you currently escrow your real estate taxes with a mortgage company or related servicing company, you will not be able to set up a payment plan for that particular account.
